Tension over control of the Haram al-Sharif compound of mosques in Jerusalem’s Old City has reached a pitch unseen since clashes at the site sparked the second Palestinian intifada nine years ago.

Hear, O Israel!!
WRITTEN BY Stefano Sarfati Nahmad
Hear, Hear O Israel!
You have massacred infants and blamed their parents for it
saying that they used them as shields. I can think of nothing,
nothing more disgraceful.
Only in the space of a generation, in the name of that suffering,
you have caused suffering to others: you have hermetically sealed them in a territory, and you started to slaughter them with the most sophisticated of arms, indestructible armoured tanks, state-of-the-art helicopters
brightening the night-time sky as if it were day, to strike them more efficiently.
But 668 dead Palestinians and 4 dead Israelis is not a victory, it’s just
a defeat for you and for humanity as a whole.
ACTION ALERT: Spy for Israel
Yesterday Aljazeera Arabic TV showed the leaflet which Gazans awoke to find scattered everywhere by the terrorist Israeli air force.
After a long search for a copy of the leaflet, I finally found it on Ma’an News (a Palestinian news agency). The leaflet gave me an idea for action that might help our people in Gaza a little. Let’s read this leaflet first then follow the action.
The leaflet reads:
To the residents of the Gaza Strip,
Remi Kanazi – The Failed Logic of Supporting the Troops
In the United States, a growing number of leftists are voicing their opposition to the Israeli occupation. They condemn the demolition of homes, the jailing of Palestinians without charge, and the confiscation of Palestinian land for settlements. They don’t support the Israeli troops or their mission, nor do they give a free pass to those who are just “doing what they are told.”
Nonetheless, many of these same individuals support the US troops in Iraq. Dangerously, most Americans put forth the notion that the troops’ intrinsic heroism provides them with the impunity to destroy any bogeymen who stand in their way, cultivating a code of silence that strongly discourages dissent. It is under this premise that we support our “brave” and “noble” soldiers: we know their stories well, they miss their families, they are “just like us,” and we should respect their service.
The Hasbara behind the release of Palestinian prisoners: debunking the MFA briefing
As always, when I read the Israel Foreign Affairs Ministry Press Briefing, I can’t help but wonder how they do it. They lie through their teeth so much, that I hope the Ministry provides a really excellent Dental Care Program to its staff.
In “Behind the Headlines: Israel continues prisoner release policy” we see the best worst that Israel has to offer the gullible masses… but first of course, remember, this is the stuff they feed to the news agencies, so why are you surprised that when the papers pick it up everything is so totally screwed and twisted? My deconstruction in RED.
Hamas declares end to Israel truce
Palestinian group Hamas has declared that the six-month ceasefire between Israel and the Gaza Strip is over.
The ceasefire officially ended at daybreak in Gaza on Friday and came after armed Palestinian groups admitted that they had been using the truce to train and better arm themselves.
The Izz-al-din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas movement, blamed Israel for the failure of the truce.
“The ceasefire is over and there won’t be a renewal because the Zionist enemy has not respected its conditions,” the group said on its website.
UN agency suspends Gaza food aid
The United Nations has halted the distribution of food aid in the Gaza Strip after its stocks of wheat flour ran out.
The UN Relief and Works Agency said on Thursday that “irregular border access” meant deliveries had been unable to reach the improverished territory, where about 750,000 people depend on food assistance.
Releasing Colonizer Filmed Shooting Palestinians is a Moral and Judicial Miscarriage
Haaretz Israeli Daily Newspaper said that the arrest of colonizer Ze’ev Braude, who was filmed shooting Palestinian citizens at close range, sheds more light on the law enforcement system applied to the Jewish colonizers in the Occupied Palestinian Territory .
The Daily added that judges in two Israeli courts rejected prosecutors’ requests to remand the suspect, accused of serious crimes, to keep him in custody for the duration of judicial proceedings against him.
Israeli air raid kills 2 teens in Gaza
The Israeli military has launched an air strike into the southern Gaza Strip, killing at least two civilians and wounding 4 others.
According to the local residents, an Israeli aircraft fired a missile at a group of people in east of Rafah city in southern territory on Tuesday.
Medical sources identified the victims as two brothers named Khaled and Ramzi Duhaii, aged 15 and 17 respectively.
UN accuses Israel of punishing aid workers
The UN official responsible for the welfare of 4.6 million Palestinian refugees has accused Israel of extending its collective punishment of the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip to include international humanitarian staff.
Karen AbuZayd, who is based in Gaza City, said that Israeli authorities have within the past month stopped UN staff based in Gaza from using the diplomatic pouch. They gave no reason for the move, which is a clear breach of international law.
